Objectives
The IT Systems Technician is a professional who, working independently and within the scope of their assigned responsibilities, manages an IT infrastructure, installs and maintains computers, peripherals, local area networks, operating systems and software applications; configures and operates office applications and databases; carries out programming; installs and manages web servers; and formats hypertext pages for the Intranet and the Internet.
Recipients
Adults aged 18 or over who have completed the third cycle of basic education (Year 9)
Certificate
At the end of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Academic and Vocational Qualifications equivalent to Year 12, provided they have met the defined objectives and attended at least 90 per cent of the course.
