To identify basic concepts associated with demographic ageing and the ageing process. To describe the fundamental principles of the ageing process, taking into account its biophysiological, psychological and social dimensions. Identify the main characteristics of the most common health conditions affecting older people. Identify the specific considerations to be taken into account in the daily activities of older people. Recognise the factors that contribute to health promotion in older people.

Working professionals, both employed and unemployed, who, as part of their continuing professional development, wish to improve or update their knowledge in their respective fields of expertise.

At the end of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Qualifications, provided they have met the defined objectives and attended at least 90 per cent of the course.
