The Universal Access project, organised by the Évora Cerebral Palsy Association (APCE), aimed to achieve the full inclusion of citizens with disabilities.
With the aim of improving accessibility to commercial premises in the city of Évora, a Guide to Good Accessibility Practices and a Distinctive Seal for ‘Accessible Premises’ were developed, as well as the creation of a website which, amongst other features, allows users to search for the accessibility levels of these premises.
During its implementation, the project also included awareness-raising campaigns via radio, newspaper and online adverts, as well as short videos, promoting greater autonomy and independence for this target audience.
The conference ‘Accessibility and Mobility for All’ was also held, along with its promotion and the development of promotional material for the event.
